A few months ago I was browsing the web looking for some new design/development resources and I came across a new site by ZDNet called DevHead. From the name of the site it sounds like is speaks technogeek (well maybe a little). Looking through the site I was surprised it was not just for the developer or producer, but provides useful information on usability, accessability, standards, scripting, and many other topics.
The area on accessability was not something I expected, since many design/development resource sites don't have that information included. This includes both articles and links to other useful accesability information.
For the prototypers and designers the site also has several web based tools (i.e. HTML checkers, gif optimizers, link checkers, script libraries, etc...). The javascript library does not always have very good documentation for the scripts.
Dr. Jakob Nielsen also writes a monthly column for this site called "Usability Matters". In his column he sometimes refers to information he has shared in his alertbox column, but I have found some of these pages include different topics.
