Dynamic Fortune 500, High-Tech Systems Engineering Firm has an immediate need for a Senior Software Engineer with Network Experience - Portsmouth, NH.

Job Description

• Work with customers to perform formal analysis of operational needs for multiplatform integrated and networked systems. Special emphasis on DOD GIG and NCES, as well as combat control and sonar systems.
• Identify functional flows of logical and control interfaces among system components to: (1) facilitate systems integration; (2) improve interoperability and reusability; and (3) ensure compatibility among command and control (C2) as well as other subsystems.
• Participate with requirements definition, analysis, design, development and testing of web services and other design components Department of Defense (Navy, Air Force, etc.) command and control systems. Services will include persistence, data presentation and data processes, using Java, J2EE, C++, SOAP, XML and other open-standard interfaces and specifications.
• Work with the architecture and design team in architecture specification, implementation and management.
• Mentor junior members of the team and provide training on distributed computing, messaging, data storage, networking, J2EE, SOAs and other advanced concepts.

Required Skills:

• B.S. in Computer Science or other Engineering Discipline
• 10+ years Software Design and Development with distributed multi-tiered systems
• MUST have 2+ years network architecture design and implementation experience
• OOA/OOD - design patterns - UML U.S. citizenship required and possess (or ability to obtain) U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret Level
