Sr. Information Architect Join the Dynamic Diagrams team and help create new ways to visualize complex information! We have a full-time, permanent position available in our studio for an experienced information architect or an individual with a comparable and proven research or user experience background. ABOUT THE POSITION:Your primary responsibilities will relate to gathering and making sense of the information on which our complex web sites and visualizations are based. Activities will include: interviewing key players and prospective users, conducting competitive product reviews, documenting user and stakeholder requirements, defining and describing information and navigation models, crafting supporting documentation materials such as functional specifications, and developing appropriate visualizations of information such as wireframes, diagrams, and prototypes in conjunction with design staff. You will also act as a project manager, creating project plans, schedules and budgets, serving as project liaison with clients, and contributing to writing proposals for prospective projects. ABOUT YOU:Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities-- You know how to examine a problem from various angles and develop appropriate information solutions that balance business goals, user needs, and technology constraints. You have an in-depth knowledge of informaiton architecture and business analysis methodologies, but are also a creative thinker, with a desire to experiment with new ideas and solutions. You have solid written and verbal communication skills, and know how to work well as part of a close-knit team of designers, sitebuilders, producers, and software developers. You are flexible, self-directed, and good at multitasking and time management. Your Education and Experience - You may have a degree in human computer interaction, library and information science, or technical writing, or the equivalent experience working as a business analyst, information architect, or interaction designer.
