User Experience Lead

Avenue A/Razorfish has an immediate opening for an Experience Lead in our Fort Lauderdale office. As a member of our User Experience community, you would work with our strategy, creative, and technology teams to:

Job Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role in developing transactional, informational, and marketing websites.
• Understanding target audiences' needs, tasks, and goals and translating them into creative concepts.
• Leading and/or participating in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing.
• Developing user personas and scenarios to clarify results of user research and focus the team’s design efforts on the needs of key users.
• Collaboratively developing prototypes for demonstration of concepts to clients.
• Developing and documenting detailed user experience specifications for highly interactive interfaces.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field, such as human-computer interaction, graphic design, or industrial design
• 5+ years experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or experience designer (or similar role)
• Demonstrated ability to design complex transactional interfaces, taxonomies and metadata frameworks, and templates for content management systems
• Demonstrated experience observing user research and translating user research into design decisions
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Experience in client services and negotiating business decisions
• Willingness to travel
