User Experience Designers

Role:

The QUALCOMM User Experience Group (QUE) is seeking user experience professionals to lead the design of next generation mobile applications and services. We are looking for creative self-starters who are capable of driving user-centered design from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have some experience designing for mobile devices and possess a passion for great design.

Skills/Experience:

The responsibilities of this position include: designing, documenting, and evaluating applications for the mobile device and working with global, inter-disciplinary design, marketing and engineering teams to finalize designs and oversee realization.

Additional Skills:

• 3+ years experience shipping consumer software and/or products
• 2-5 years product management experience in general.
• Successful track record of applying user-centered design processes
• Competence with design tools such as Visio, Photoshop, Illustrator are a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills a must

Education Requirements:

B.S./M.S. in cognitive science or HCI-related field
