Sr. Site User Manager

Combining a keen eye for visual design and a strong instinct for usability, a Senior Site User Manager is responsible for determining the look and feel of specific projects and/or areas of the site. Senior Site User Managers have an excellent understanding of user-centered design, a passion for creative exploration, and can effectively translate business requirements into compelling site designs.

Job Responsibilities:
- Have direct responsibility for the design and execution of key design projects.
- Have direct responsibility for designing and implementing a User Centered Design Process
- Have direct responsibility for Visual standards and performance standards
- Create prototypes, task analyses, use cases, mock-ups, user interaction models, information architecture, wire frames, design briefs, design guidelines, and screen flows with little direction.
- Lead cross-functional teams to create innovative user experiences for existing and new product offerings
- Plan and execute user research projects. Translate user research findings into design decisions.
- Design and develop processes for measuring and analyzing user behavior on the site.
- Solve customer problems through user experience designs based on extensive user research data
- Influence product teams and the organization to achieve the solution that is right for our customers.
- Mentor less experienced team members
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of professional design experience.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, or related field.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent understanding of user experience design for the Web, demonstrable design skills, and ability to show relevant work.
- Experience launching products for consumer web sites.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups, to all levels of the organization, as well as outside of the organization.
- Proven ability to work and coordinate with multiple groups, including business owners, product managers, creative designers, usability engineers, software developers, and senior executives.
- Education Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
