![]() From the Editor Welcome to another issue of Internetworking! We hope you find articles which will inform and interest you. This issue has articles on "banner blindness," web usability, HCI bibliographic resources and predicting penetration of intranet products. We also have a technical workshop, book reviews, a web site review and a lively opinions discussion. Since last issue, ITG has become a technical group of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and Pawan's chair column will tell us what that means to us. We encourage all of you reading Internetworking to join ITG. Membership continues to be free. Registering helps us to maintain an accurate count of our members. Our next Human Factors and the Web Conference will be help at NIST in June. Now is a good time to start preparing an article or to volunteer to help with the conference. The calls for paper and reviewers appear in this issue. If you have ideas on how we can improve Internetworking, please let us know. Better yet, send in an article yourself. We are always looking for timely, educational, and thought provoking material on Web HCI.Our format is flexible. If you have something of interest to our readers, we will find a place for it. There has been one change to our staff this issue. Scott Wright is relinquishing his role as articles editor due to new job responsibilities. We would like to thank Scott for his help with the first three issues. Starting next issue, Judy Cantor (jcantor@att.com) will be taking over this role. Those of you attended the last HF and the Web Conference should remember Judy as the one who organized the conference and kept everything running smoothly throughout. If she can handle that, I know she can do anything. Best wishes to you and your family for the holidays. Enjoy a little time off before getting back onto web time next year.
