The ITG Listserv

As many of you are well aware, the Internet Technical Group maintains a listserv for communications with it's membership. We attempt to limit mailings to no more than one per week with an emphasis on business matters. Topics include newsletter announcements, requests for proposals, conference programs, etc. To keep mailings to a minimum, we do not provide for free-ranging discourse on different topics, but encourage use of the CHI-Web listserv for this purpose (CHI-Web@acm.org).
Currently, there are approximately four hundred subscribers. After repeated mail delivery failures, subscribers are removed from the list. It is possible that some members may have been inadvertently taken off the list. The subscription process is done manually and it is possible that human error may have led to a few people not being subscribed. Additionally, it appears that six or more email addresses change every month and without notification, those individuals are removed from the mailing list. If anyone has requested that they be subscribed and you are not receiving mailings, contact me at jcforsy@sandia.gov and I'll be glad to get you to the list.
As noted above, we try to restrict mailings so that subscribers are not overwhelmed by email form our listserv. However, we welcome requests from all ITG members to post mailings. Again, if you have a mailing you'd like to have posted send it to me at jcforsy@sandia.gov and if appropriate, I'll post it to the list.
Finally, to subscribe to the listserv send me email and I'll add you to the list. The list does not accommodate automated subscriptions so it will be necessary to send an email request.
