![]() From the Editor Welcome to the first issue of Internetworking! This is the newsletter of the ITG (Internet Technical Group). It is a place to publish web usability research, opinions, reviews and a wide variety of other items of interest to ITG members. In keeping with the spirit of the ITG, Internetworking will be free of charge and will be available only on the web. We will operate with short deadlines to encourage publication of late breaking news. There will be a minimum of rules and red tape. The web is moving rapidly and we are all busy people so the ITG wants to give you the opportunity to publish articles about your work quickly and easily. In this issue, you can learn about the history of the ITG, web development tools and processes, useful resources, and more ... We hope you enjoy Internetworking. We welcome your comments to improve future issues. We encourage you to send in a submission for the next issue or volunteer to join the editorial and production team. I would like to thank all the authors who contributed to this issue and the staff who put it all together:
